The Bird and the Needle

Ever since the move, we’ve been so busy with projects around the house and with shopping for the house and organizing the house… We really needed a break, especially with the big party coming fast. So, our little family went for a nice long walk at Alki Beach. For those of you who are not familiar with this area, Alki Point is the western-most point of Seattle and promises postcard views of the city. It’s a common tourist destination, but I had never been. In fact, I think it was the last of the major touristy things to do in Seattle that I hadn’t done before. Does this mean that, after four plus years here, I am officially a Seattleite?
